Where can i get some cheap bamboo trees from and i live in Fife Scotland?

Question:

Answers:
Bamboo plants are one of easiest to propagate as they are basically giant grass. Look out for small shoots popping out of the soil at the base of bamboo groves and pick them just below the soil. Plant it and it should establish itself. Keep your eyes peel for groves in the parks and verges and you will have them for free.

You can always go to http://www.1800topsoil.com to see if they have a local pro servicing your area. They're national.

Homebase is good for plants or You could Make a Trip to DOBBIES GARDEN WORLD they sell everything to do with gardens i think they can even order in plants for u
CHEERS NOSH
Dobbies (Dunfermline and Dalgety bay) sell bamboo fairly cheaply, as does B&Q (Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy etc.). However, I would recommend Fairley's garden centre in Cairneyhill (just west of Dunfermline) if you live in that part of Fife. They have a HUGE range, quite affordable and some very nice bamboos (better quality than B&Q I think, or even Dobbies).
Well your answer is from Mrs Fyfe so listen buy the bamboos when they are small and cheap they grow quickly. Oh ok i will share a bad habit i buy half dead plants from garden centres at ridiculous prices and bring them on by feeding and care.
