Weeds help!!?
Question:So in my front yard, there is a huge rock area, but it's infested with weeds. Weeds are covering the whole rock patch.
I pulled all of them in the spring which took like 2 and a half weeks , but they came back again.
Last year, I tried spray weed killers on them, but that didn't work either. They just grew back in masses.
So what can I do?
Answers:
You can kill them with weed killer. Then apply Preen to the soil, that makes the surface of the soil dormant for one season.
Preen is sold at Lowes and Home Depot for $10 a large can that covers over 200 square feet.
Weeds will not germinate when Preen is applied. Dont dig or rake the soil or that disturbs the surface and then if you do that the weeds will germinate again.
Put mulch or compost over the soil it usually work and i mean it usully always works.
The only thing you can do at this stage Zach, is deal with it. Unless your ready to tackle the removal of the rock area and replace it the right way your going to continue to deal with the weeds issue.

Well, first of all, it would help if we knew what kind of weeds you're talking about, annuals, perennials, grasses,kudzu, etc. Can you post a picture or two?
welll you could do like i do in our firepit just get a lot og gas and put it on the weeds and u need a match and your done in like 5 mins
