It is a good idea for cash to have & keep & spend to support your everyday needs in what U just asked. First U go to a store & get a lawn mower or just a grass trimmer like the common ones U see being used everywhere, that has a long reach with jsut NO BLADES but PLASTIC CORDS.

What U need do is ask each house within the area in any housing estate U cycle or drive to if U can come once a month to do this trimming & if U can manage to cut 4 houses a day it will be a real good way to earn. Then U keep a book of all the places U have been to & how U charged each place for ur records. Note the date U went to that place & keep the phone numner down to call before goign for appointment too.
Be very professional about this job even if it is part time or ful time. Just do it quietly & the people will trust your neat works & U have gained their confidence to call U repeatedly. If any extry works to be done liek help repotting the plants, U oblige & u will be paid extra for this too.

U let them know U can manage their garden full time & come each week to clear the place & do maintainence for their garden by adding fertilizer fortnightly (every 2 weeks) onto the plants & trees & flowering plants a special type fretilizer. U can charge $5.00 for each time U fertilize the plants . The cost of a packet is just a few dollars & u can make 4x the amount for this service.
On the quiet, U can earn at least $1,500 - $2,000 a month just cutting grass & odd jobs in the garden . U can earn $50 a day x 26 days = US1,300 a month part time.
Use your head & think what else U can do to earn more ,,,it id not too difficult but hard work can really earn U anywhere & u learn to save this $$$$ too & buy tools along the way or for yoru education to university if U have the ability.

You don't just cut grass you pull out the weeds before cutting, trim plants that are overhanging the lawn.
Leaves and grass cuttings must be properly cleaned up after you.
