Answers:
I'm not sure what you mean by little green house, however, the starter seeds you were growing should have been left where they were until they got a little bigger. The green house, unless it is a really big yard type, probably did get too hot.

After the starter plants get a few inches tall, place them outside for a couple of days prior to transplanting them. This way they can acclimate to the new environment.

Most of the vegetable plants bought from the store come from hot houses. Big hot houses with automatic watering and ventilation fans. Nice and humid too. A great environment for plants to grow.

However, when the plant is sold and brought home for planting, it goes into shock since it's environment has changed so much. It went from a controlled environment to the hostile outside. Then it's root structure is disturbed when planted. Also, most gardens don't have the rich nutrient soil hothouse gardens have.

In any event, just grow the seeds in the starter tray on a table in front of a window. When the plants are tall enough to plant, say 4 inches or so, leave them outside for a couple of days in the area you want to plant. Then transplant them.

Don't forget, lots of water the first couple of days and TLC and your plants should do fine. One more thing, don't forget to mix amendments into your garden soil. Something like Miracle Grow will do nicely.

Good Luck!

I would let them become more established before moving them if I were you. Let the plants get about 6" tall before moving them, and with them being in a greenhouse, they will need more water.
