How do i get rid of rabbits ?

Question:they are eating my flowers and plants. I feel like shooting them.. but i will not

Answers:
been there!
lots of things can help. pepper spray. they don't like spicy foods!LOL! irish clean shavings. it works! my personal favorite, blood.
there are products that contain pig and cow blood. i know it sounds terrible, smells even worse LOL! but i swear it works. usually i spray twice for the entire season. my husband and i joke that the rabbits are gone, but watchout for the wolves!lol! it really works and the rabbits remember that a blood lusting monster lives here! they will leave you alone! now if you find rabbits that like the taste of blood, that's a whole new problem LOL! little buggers sure are cute though!

I've heard that garlic works to keep them away from your plants. Ask your local nursery/garden shop about purchasing garlic that you actually place on your plants to keep the rabbits away.
I have heard a small amount of "used" kitty litter sprinkled strategically throughout your garden will deter them.

Our dogs wiped them out in a 12 month period. But it took several years...

I want to you can use mothballs, but I'm not sure if that is potentially poisonous or not.
They taste like chicken.
Rabbits are part of nature. You can't really get rid of them. If you were to kill them off, it would only be a matter of time before new ones would move into the area.

To really rabbit proof a garden area you will need to fence it, digging down 6 inches below the surface to bury the wire. Use chicken wire or smaller mesh.

A natural enemy of the rabbit is the fox. You might try fox urine as a deterrent. I think the suggestion of used kitty litter is worth a try because I know cats eat baby rabbits. I wouldn't get the kitty litter in your vegetables, just around the perimeter.
Chicken wire worked for me. I tried Liquid Fence first, but it didn't help.
You can always go to http://www.1800topsoil.com to see if they have a local pro servicing your area. These guys at http://www.1800topsoil.com are somehow national. I used them in two states. Good luck!
