Japanese Beetle and Ants?

Question:How to remove Japanese Beetle and Ants from a vegetable garden while still being able to eat the vegetables. Also I have seen plants that look kind of like ladybugs but they are devouring my plant leaves.

Answers:
tough one. Japanese beetles are voracious and will eat whatever they like. They will even eat poisoned leaves, so poison is no good (besides not being good for you)

it's no consolation, but they only are around for a couple of weeks.

you can try spraying a soap/water spray on the foliage.. it MIGHT help.

Ants.. try the soap.

No idea what the last bit is.. think maybe you mis-typed that.. I've never seen a plant that looks like a ladybug that eats other plants... :-)

Alot of people use liquis Sevin it will kill the beetles and the veggies are still safe to eat, have sold a ton of it here in the midwest, just read directions please.
