Im thinking of buying a venus fly trap but i want to know if i can feed it other kinds of meat like chicken?

I've found that my Venus Fly Trap prefers small dogs: Poodles and Chihuahuas are favorites. Once in a while I'll tantalize "Trappy" with a mouse. If you do this make sure that the mouse is all the way in BEFORE the trap closes. Otherwise, it can be pretty messy.
insects are best. ants are easy (they don't attempt to fly away from you). they don't need much--a few times per month. i once killed one by feeding it too much.
