What is the best way to keep moose out of my garden?

Question:

Answers:
I have a very good friend in Alaska, and she tried all of the above and none of them worked. What she ended up doing was a substantial fence about 5' high. Not a solid fence, but a split rail type. She also erected a greenhouse for some of the smaller plants.

A killer cat. : )

Just teasing. Deer repellent works fine. Here's a link for a fairly green product that will do the trick:

Buy a big moose trap "SNAP"!
naw just kidding did you try hanging Irish spring soap from a nylon stocking around the yard? I'm told moth balls work well too ... worth giving them a shoot as their both cheap..
You can also try predator pee. My family uses mountain lion pee to keep deer away, and it really works. You should try mountain lion or wolf. You can buy it from nurseries and on the internet.
Move to UK.
Have you tried liquid fence? It works to keep the deer away from my hosta.

If your problem with the moose is serious and has lasted more than one season, your only real solution is a high sturdy fence.

Good luck! If I had a Moose in my garden I would be thrilled for about 3 seconds and then horrified. I bet a moose can do a lot of damage in a short period of time.
