Is it safe to cut back the leaves on a squash plant...mine has run amok!?

Question:

Answers:
Heck yeah! Hack away anything that does not have a flower or fruit growing on. And DO NOT FEED ANY MORE NITROGEN!

No problem, might even help the size of the squash you do get.
Go ahead, you should get more and bigger squash. You need to control the plant, otherwise you'll have alot of leaves and no squash because the energy is going out to growing leafs.
