Get grub killer. Chances are you have a serious grub problem in you soil since you have all these moles - they eat grubs. After you cut off their food source, they should disappear. One other tell-tale sign of a grub problem is lots of Robins - they eat them too.

A boston bull terrier. I had a friend with a dog named Shasta and she would sniff the ground and find moles. Dig them up and get em.
they eat grubs and underearth "things". birdfeeders draw them from spilled seed. you can try the thumper things, "google-kill moles", some say jucyfruit gum in the "runs", a good dog or cat, best bet is an exterminator who will do something in the runs. may the force be with you cause i have a cat who got 3 large ones in the last year and made a big difference.
first of all I sympathise with you.I had this problem a few years ago till I fought back.this may sound nuts but first of all you need to buy some small wind spinners for your yard .The little flowers that spin in the wind.They hate the sound.Also you need to put stuff down to kill grub worms.Moles love grub worms.No grub worms,no moles.I also would work at this vigoursly.They will go away if you get rid of the grub and put the spinners in.I got my info from our local golf course and it worked 100%.

Go to a local beauty shop, get their floor sweepings. Open the mounds, find the hole and put a good sized bit of hair at the opening. Cover it all back up. They will make a few new mounds, do the same thing. I did this, and after about 3 weeks, no more gophers!!
Well I would recommend a 6 pack and a 22-250. Drink beer and shoot them while you are on your back porch. If in urban area try bow and arrow. Have fun.
I use an exhaust pipe adapter that connects to a water hose. Works great! Stick the other end of hose in a hole and let your engine run for about 15-20 minutes. The carbon monoxide is heavier than air, so don't worry about gases. It won't harm your grass or plants. Available at Ace hardware stores.
