Natural weed killer for some big, tough weeds?

Question:I'm looking for something to kill weeds that will not kill my pets. I know about the vinegar combinations, but has anyone actually tried them and had them work? I'd really like to hear from someone who has tried this method and can give me some good advice. Thanks!

Answers:
Some good 'ol elbow grease and a shovel seem to work perfect, with no toxins or pollutants.

Try using salt water from a spray bottle. It turned my driveway weeds brown. Make sure the water is extremely hot too.
Learn your pets to relieve themselves on the weeds. Or you can pull them buy hand or use a weed popper/puller tool.
The best weed killer I've found is honestly a kettle of boiling water. I took out some mammoth dandelions last week with it...just boil up a full kettle, walk out into the garden, aim for the center of the beast and watch them fry! They turn bright green when they cook, and they'll be dead (or dying) the next day. Big weeds might take a full kettle (or more) to do them in. Great for weeds in cracks in concrete/patios, too. Good luck!
even extra strong mixed normal weed killer will have a hard time killing big weeds but good luck
