Will plantings in a raised bed 3 feet off the ground survive in just one foot of soil?


Question:Have clay soil so if the contained beds are up higher will plants such as shrubs and bushes survive? There will be about 2 feet between the ground and the soil in the beds? Will perennial flowers survive?

sure granted that you upkeep your garden


sure they will but the raised plants will have to be watered alot more then the low level plants! just keep that in mind!
