Where are the Honeybees disappearing to?

Question:Are there the same numbers of organically raised honeybee populations evaporating? What must the antibiotics be doing to our main pollinator? I also wonder if the transporting of their hives to different farms again and again isn't upsetting them.
I am very interested in the latest findings.

Answers:
I've heard several radio and tv programs about the honey bees. Some say there is a mite that's killing the bees. Some say it's a new kind of bug spray that was being tested that's caused honey bees to die. Still others say that the seeds that have been put on the market from Monsanto and others who have coated the seeds with a pesticide have caused the problem of bees dieing. Yet others say that there is something in the ground that gets absorbed into the plant and up to the stamen and when the bees go to pick up the nectar that the nectar isn't as wholesome as it used to be so they are starving themselves to death. Still others say that the cell phone waves in the air are confusing the bees and birds so that they can't find their way home. All I know for sure is that the government is checking into this problem to find the exact cause of honeybees disappearing. Some they have found dead in clusters. The problem seems to be happening only in some areas and not everywhere, but the problem is worldwide. And, not all areas are the bees being wiped out.

I heard something about the cell phone towers are affecting them like power towers are avoided by the bees. But I haven't heard/read a follow up story on it.
I heard that it's the cellphone towers that are interfering with the bees' navigational somethingrather...and that 75% of them have died off already...scary cuz I love honey!
I haven't heard anything about the honey bees disappearing, but I do know that if 75% of our bees disappeared we would definately hear about that. Besides honey, Bees are essential to our very existance. Bees are our number one pollinators and without them we would suffer unbelievably. That would be the end of fruits, veggies, trees, flowers just to name a few.
...and just to add to this 'discussion'...human life will last only about 4 years without the bees.

please, please, please encourage ppl here in this section of YA NOT to use pesticides!
