Can I use kerosene in my tiki torch?

Question:

Answers:
NO! Been there, done that, and I have pictures of the aftermath around here somewhere! Look, Lamp oil, is a fuel for tiki, Kerosene, is only an octane point or two away from diesel fuel. Not only will it create thick black smoke, that is 400 times more harmful to the eyes and lungs then a plastic burning bon-fire, but kerosene has the ability to expand, while burning in something like a tiki, resulting in overflow, while still burning, and I'll leave the rest to your imagination there.

Yeah, you can if you want to burn your house down. Get the stuff you're supposed to get just to be safe.
