What is a good anti bug spray for a hibicus plant?

Question:when i was looking at it today to make sure everything was alright i noticed a bunch of little white things on one of the flower buds that hasn't bloomed yet. i got the hose and watered it also sprayed the strange looking bud and most of the white things came off. i'm thinking its bugs because the other day i noticed that a leaf looked semi eaten away. what should i use to keep my plant healthy? and i want something that wont hurt it.

Answers:
Shultz Houseplant and Garden Insect Killer is very good and will not harm your plant. Make sure you spray the bottoms of the leaves too because many pests hide there. It lasts about 6 wks inside or until a heavy rain outside.

I use soapy water on all plants that have blackfly, whitefly, greenfly etc.

But always re-spray with clean water about an hour later to remove any soap residue.

All the nasties will be dead but not the good guys like ladybirds.
