Yes, any small animal that consumes that much sugar will get deathly ill. My Dog went into a seizure from eating some easter candy...not a pretty site.

What did u feed a chipmunk chocolate or something lol i think this is something i never thought about .i would think they would like a cat or dog would ,so i wouldnt go around feeding chipmunks chocolate i just wouldnt feed wild life other then say a bird feeder or deer feed stuff like that natural stuff not human food anyway . best wishes !

Unlike the aformentioned dog. Chipmunks are rodents and can therefore not vomit. So, the sugar that goes in can really mess them up and their system is forced to absorb all of it. That is why rat poison is so effective.
