What a brilliantly refreshing question! Bless you! Too many memories to pick from .. but the first that came to mind was my grandma deep frying homemade "chips" from potatoes we just pulled from the ground ... the freedom of riding a pony with no saddle through the fields .. and the rock in the woods that I used to sit on to write poetry. *geez* think I'm gonna cry, thanks for reminding us all of those wonderful days in the world before the internet!
I grew up on 160 acres and one of my fondest memories is just having all that space to run and play. Kids don't get to do that anymore.
I loved it all, but I guess the best part was wading through the snow and subzero temps and getting to the barn and opening the door and going into where the cows were where it was warm and steamy. I also like to feed the new calves. Haying and combining were no fun.
I was raised on a farm in Iowa, my fondest memory is picking cherries with my grandma, singing in the corn silo, and riding the tractor to help my grandfather round up the cows!
my fondest memory is setting water, i am frikin good at setting water
i grew up on a truck farm when i was old enough i was allowed to ride the horse to make sure that everyone was ok i always caried water in a saddlebag in case anyone forgot to bring thiers it was a family owned and operated business we never went hungry i can tell you that
i did not grow up on a farm, but i visited my grandpa's alot when i was little. i loved playing with all the cats at the farm.
I grew up on a farm. The best part for me was all of the room to run. Also, it is a completely different lifestyle. Where else do you learn how to hunt and fish when you are still in elementary school. Being around all of the animals is also very therapeutic. There is just a common sense type of learning that you don't get anywhere else.
Yes I grew up on a farm and ranch. My favoite memories are of nights spent on the river listening to the older folks spin tall tales around the campfire.

i was raised mostly in the city, but i used to spend the whole summers in my grandparents farm. my favourite memories were with my grandpa... i used to ride on his bike behind him and take trips with my dog running behind us. i miss my grandpa so much.
I didn't grow up on a farm, but during the summers I would spend a lot of time on my Aunt's and Uncle's farm, and I helped in feeding the horses, the chickens, etc. And I was young enough to ride ponies, but I also got old enough to ride the horses on the trails, and that to me is a great stress reliever. And it was so quiet at night, and I enjoyed all that.
I didn't grow up on a farm. When I was born, we were living in the city and my parents weren't doing well financially so we moved a lot (they were changing jobs, doing relief work, getting transfered, etc). I lived near the beach in a laid-back town for about 8 years during my teenage-hood before moving back into a city, this time a different one.
My (former) best friend and I would go to the beach at night and talk about our aspirations and dreams over cans of beer. Well, we grew up and none of us became what we wanted to be - I became a workaholic, he a junkie and we parted company when we had nothing in common anymore.
my fondest memories of growing up on the farm has to be riding horses. Haven't done so for a long time but during childhood it was a thing we did every day.
I lived on a farm when I was younger. I didn't have a favorite memory. My favorite childhood memory was playing with my friends.
