Grass looks brown and dying how do i help it?


Question:areas of my lawn especially in the back where the landscaping and the grass meet are looking brown. not totally dead but getting there. most of it is green still but yes i want a green lawn. we try watering it on days when the sprinkler system doesnt run but doesnt seem to help. what else can we do to bring the green back to the areas of the lawn?

try this. if you walk on the grass and it doesn't bounce back its definitley thirst. to help go to home depot and buy a hand held aerating tool golf shoe will help also after you have aerated try this tonic
1 can of beer
1 cup of baby shampoo
1/2 cup of amonia
1/2 cup of weak tea
mix all together in a 20 gallon hose end sprayer and apply to point of run off


You may have grubs.
is it too shady??
