Does cayenne pepper harm grass?
Question:I am trying to kee the neighbors dog from defacating on my lawn, just needing to know if the cayenne pepper will harm my grass?
Answers:
Cayenne pepper (powdered red pepper) is excellent to use on lawns, mulch, and plants to repel cats, dogs, armadillos, squirrels...whatever happens to be destroying your greenery. It will not harm plants or grass, even if it washes into the soil. The animals get a snootful of "hot" and go elsewhere. It does not harm the animals either; I use cayenne pepper to keep my 9 cats away from my flowerbeds.
No it won't.
No I do this to keep my neighbors cat from the same thing. It works pretty good. My grass holds up great. I use cayenne powder.
No it will not , as A matter of fact it is often used as A natural
insecticide on fruit and vegetable plants.
I don't know if it will repell dogs however.
There is A commercial product to keep dogs off your lawn
Sorry I do not remember what it is called
