I have just bought a new house, in the front is a giant monkey puzzle tree, some leaves are brown, why?
Question:
Answers:
Well, monkey puzzles grow the leaves from the tips of the branches, they are conifers, related to pine trees and such. if the brown leaves are further back on the branches, that is, old growth, then that is natural. if whole branches are turning brown there may be a nutrient and/or disease problem. They do get pretty big but if it's established getting rid of it would cause more problems than leaving it.
I can't answer that but unless you have a garden the size of Wales I'd get rid if I were you. Those trees can have roots that spread out 3 times further than their height and undermine your house. EW!
Wow lucky you, could be your soil needs nutrients. Those things grow huge, try adding gardeners gravel to improve drainage in the soil surrounding it, then dig in some mature plant compost.
that's where the seeds are very easy to grow and give one to all your neighbours
