Question about corn stalks?

Question:The guy that cut our grass cut down our corn stalks while weed eating. I guess he thought they were weeds. They were about two feet tall, now they are about two inches tall. Will these continue to grow, or are they trash now? TIA

Answers:
Corn is a grass. When you cut grass, it grows right back. I suspect that it will grow back just fine. This could delay your harevst a couple of weeks as the ears may set a little later, but I think you'll be fine. Plant some more and continue to water the cut stalks. It'll be a great experiment! You can plant corn up through the first week of July.

Trash
Most likely you will have to replant.Sorry!
Wait and see! What's the hurry you may be eating corn later but maybe you will still have some. You might give it an extra dose of plant food to jump start it.
