When planting a garden do i need to.?
Question:soak all the seeds? this is my first time planing and i have no idea what i need to do

Make sure you plan your space by knowing how much room to have between plants. Vine plants like melons and cucumbers take more space. Be sure you have a good pair or gloves. Even if you don't mind getting your hands dirty, there are times you need the protection. Be sure if there is a slope to allow for water seepage by planting plants needing more water at lower end. A good digging tool, an aerator of some kind, knee pad, plant stands (for tomatoes and beans that climb), some kind of wind sock or clicking item to reduce the birds abusing, good clean dirt or prepacked soil, a place to keep all your tools, extra seeds for those short term plants like radishes, carrots and such. Have fun.
follow the instructions on the packets that u buy the seeds in. some seeds with very hard shells require the overnight soaking. however, most seeds do not require this. moreover, soaking could be greatly reduce the germination rates.
First answer about right. You stick them in the ground according to the instructions. If they a "little" too deep, they just come up a few days late. Too deep and they not come up. Too shallow and they do OK, but, not develop as well.
Some people will germinate their seeds, this when you put them in a paper towel (Whatever) and keep wet, until the seed sprout. Some feel this do more root damage transferring the seedlings to the ground. I just poke a little hole, drop the dry seed in and cover. Keep the garden moist if there no rain and nature take it's course. ;-)
No, you don't need to soak the seeds. Just plant them at the proper depth as indicated on the seed packets.

Just follow the directions that should come with you seeds. Different plants require different types and amounts of care. But, if you need real specific instructions, then go to your local county extention office and they should have pamplets on all kinds of plant/seeds and how to grow them in a garden.
