What is the yellowish moss/algae/fungus growing on my newly planted fruit trees?

Question:there is a yellowish/orange subst. growing on my newly planted fruit tress they all have it and are young have no fruit on them yet and it seems like the leaves are dying off, becoming stick like trees, i don't know if this subst. is killing them or not? should i spray something to kill offf harmful stuff like roundup?

Answers:
I wouldn't have a clue unless maybe I saw a picture. Maybe your local Home Depot could help you out. Certainly, there are many pesticides that could get rid of the fungus. I don't know about Roundup because they usually make weed killer and that shouldn't be used to treat fungi. Could hurt tree.
