How do I get the birds to stop eating Mangoes from my tree?

Question:My tree is finally giving fruit again since the hurricane season from hell, but the birds are eating all the mangoes. Any suggestions?
I am not sure about a "traditional" scarecrow, because the tree is rather tall and wide, so the birds wouldn't really see it from the top.

Thanks in advance!

I found a website http://www.bird-x.com/ and they sell harmless products. They also have a toll free, free consultation telephone number to discuss what may be a good solution. 1 800 860 0473
Good luck!

Sit on your porch with a rifle.
Hang some fake owls on the branches.
you can try cutting the tree down a bit, and then placing a rather tall scarecrow. Or maybe get a bird feeder to distract them
Put a plastic owl in the tree. You can get them at most home and garden shops.
I have three cats (and some neighborhood rounders) outside my home and the birds never bother any fruit bearers. Get a cat outside: they avoid them. Natural "scarecrows," the little dears.
I love mangos. :)
Yeah, I agree with the first guy. Get a rifle. LOL.
