How do i get rid of rabbits that are tearing up myu yard??
Question:the easiest way may be the most brutal way. i dont want to ruin my grass though.

Sounds kind of cruel to some, but my (formerly stray) cat is doing her best to take care of our problems with rabbits (and moles, and mice...) all by herself. You could adopt a shelter cat, and take care of your rabbit problem while giving a good home to an abandoned animal. The only downside is that they may not actually eat all of the animal, so you may still have a little cleanup...a latex glove and plastic grocery bag tied into a knot will take care of any untidy remains.
Call Elmer Fudds Eradication service. It's vewwy inexpensive.

place tufts of human hair around the perimeter of your propperty approx. 9-12 yards from each other...this also works for many other wild animals who are affraid of the human scent
12 guage shotgun with # 6 shells will do it. Besides the rabbit meat makes a very good stew. A couple of Beagels will keeping them moving. You can buy a live animal trap at any hardware store but you best be prepared have to resort to other means if you do not kill them when you catch them. Even bunnies don't make the same mistake twice.
If you don't want to shoot them personally then find a hunter who does. Most any rabbit hunter will do the job for you for free.

One way to control rabbits is to plant Marigold flowers or get some Pest spray. We keep rabbits out of the vegetable garden with marigolds and it works fine! For a yard i would also suggest buying "green light" Home and Garden Insect Spray. It is an organic pest spray that is non toxic. It smells like Herbs too. This also seems to deter the skunk and rabbits from nibbling on our flowers and digging in the flower beds.
Try putting out predator pee. Sounds weird I know, but you can buy it on the internet and at nurseries. My family started using mountain lion pee and really sends the deer running. We have had none since using it. It stinks like crazy going on, but the smell goes away for us, and stays for the critters. You could use coyote, fox, bobcat, etc.
Why do people think that you can just stand in your yard and fire a gun? You know that's illegal just about everywhere?
try what i tried on my stray cat problem...i tossed moth-balls around the perimeter of my yard area that i wanted to stay "critter-free". They dont dissolve easily from rain and dont harm pets, they are cheap, dont hurt your grass and lawnmowers can go right over them.
It worked for me. I am almost 2weeks into being Catfree from my patio garden!
Maybe it will work on the rabbits since it is the scent that deters them the same as the cats and mothballs have that strong odor.
