Do deer eat daffodils?

Question:

Answers:
If they're starving, yes. As a general rule, No

Deer won't eat daffodils. I live in Vermont, and they eat just about everything. So, when I consult with clients about gardening, I recommend this book : "Gardening in Deer Country". Its a paper back, and it gives you ratings on popular plants. The ones marked "seldom" or "never" indicate that although the young deer might try it once, they certainly won't come back for more unless they are truly starving.

Rodents will also avoid daffodils. But most deer and rodents will eat tulips and crocus.

Best of gardening luck to you.
