We found that the only thing that really dispatched the entire colony were the smoke bombs found at the garden center. The stuff permeates their tunnels and nests. Good stuff!

Go to your hairdressers and get a bag of human hair clippings. I kid you not. Spread the hair around the areas where the monsters are digging. If they're under a deck do the same thing and throw in some moth balls. Won't hurt the environment and they hate the smell.

Try a product called "Mole Max". It is pricey, but it is the ONLY thing that works on moles and gophers.
My husband used traps we bought online, but I also found them at Walmart. We caught two and I do not think that we have anymore. It is sad to kill them though. But I just started a garden and I did not want them to get my garden.
