What is the timeframe when growing a jacaranda?

Question:how long does it take for the seeds to start growing, how big will it be after 1 year, how long until it blooms? these are such pretty trees and i want to plant some.

i had a fully mature jacaranda in my front yard, it was huge. i had to have it trimmed every 2 years @ $300 a pop. it was also a huge mess with those blossoms dropping everywhere. i finally cut it down and planted something else. think about it before you plant this tree.
