What is the best fertilizer to use on tuberous begonia's?
Question:I just planted them in a big pot. They started looking crappy in the hanging planter basket, so I transplanted them to a large clay pot.

Here's what the American Begonia Society suggests;
"Since most tuberous types are grown for their flowers, they are heavy feeders. This means you must fertilize a lot. The most frequently encountered method is to use a low-intensity complete fertilizer such as fish emulsion (5-1-1) early in the season to get a large, healthy plant. When buds appear, switch to a combination of 5-1-1 and bloom (such as 0-10-10) fertilizers, one tablespoon of each to one gallon of water, applied every two weeks. Or feed at half-strength weekly. Otherwise, follow label directions."
i use those miracle grow sticks.. i have 5 pots of begonias and i love them have has some for a few years now.i stick the stick in the dirt depending on the size of the pot.. i have one that i stick 3 sticks in... and i replace every other week.. my begonias are very pretty. good luck!
