My Pomegranate is Losing Blossoms, Why?

Question:My pomegranate bush is flowering beautifully, but then dropping the blooms before they have a chance to become fruit. Any ideas why this would happen? I've heard of tomato blossom drop, but can't find anything about pomegranates and how to treat...

Answers:
we have one also and it did the same last year..chances are, it is just to dry and malnourished.Try giving it water on a regular basis if you can and give it some fruit tree fertilizer spikes(they get driven into the ground adound the drip line).
That seems to have worked for ours.It not only had fruit on it, but it is also blooming again.
Beautiful aren't they?
