Does adding coffee grinds to cedar trees?

Question:It is said to be good for evergreens, does anyone know if this works?

Answers:
I know from personal experience that azaleas love it.Cedar trees however are acidic already I don't think it needs it ..make sure you mix the grounds in with soil because they will cake together and keep moisture from soaking in.

I'm not an expert but I know that cedar trees like acid soils. Coffee is high in acid, so adding the grinds into the soil around the roots should keep the cedar tree happy. Be careful not to smother the roots of a yound tree with too much, however.
