What's the best way to trellis cucumbers?

Question:Please explain your method.

Answers:
I've used tomato cages and trellis. What I do is hang the stem over the wire, and let the cukes grow supported.

Also to avoid unnecessary growth, I trim off most of the leaves in teh vine, making the plant focus on growing the cukes

you can install your trellis in vertical or in an X position but be sure to have wire in it horizontally.
We use "cattle panels". You get them at co ops or feed stores. They are for fencing in (lol) cattle. They are extremely sturdy and do NOT fall over with weight. Drive in two 6 ft "t-posts", or more if you need them, and wire the cattle panel to the posts. This also works great for tomato plants!
