Succulent plants?
Question:I bought this plant at Walmart on Saturday, but I'm not sure what it is. I've only watered it once since I got it because the soil was very dry and a lot of the leaves were falling off, but still even after watering it a few leaves have come off.
Here is a picture of what it is...this picture is an enlargement - it only stands about 3" tall. Please help me identify it!

You have a Jade. They are a rather easy house plant to care for. As far as the leavings coming off, you might not have it in enough sunlight, or you may be watering it too much. To get the sunlight they require, I would suggest putting it in a window where it will get some afternoon sun. And as far as watering goes, the plant itself doesn't need much. Wait until the soil dries out, and then you can give it a little drink.
As the plant grows, the bottom leaves will begin to fall off. The plant itself will branch out a bit, and begin to shape itself. Often times the shape will be irregular. When that happens, you will be able to snap off all unwanted "branches". It shouldn't hurt the plant.
Good luck with this! Jades can grow into beautiful houseplants!
It appears to be some type of cactus, I wouldn't water it anymore for a long while.
(Sorry I can't be of more help.)
You have a Jade plant, a form of cactus.

My mom used to have some of those a long time ago. It's called "The Jade Plant"...I think.
Here's a few resources that will give info on taking care of it.

It IS a jade plant - I have two of them. Water it (deeply) once a week.
It is a Crassula, one of the succulents, commonly called Jade, or Money bush. It originates in South Africa, needs watering SPARINGLY, moderate to good light. Over watering when small will kill it. Think South Africa !
