Why must the lawn grow so long so fast?

Question:Long story short, my lawn grows really fast and I've tried everything. Should I talk to a specialist?

No, it's probably just the variety of grass that you have. Grass grows more slowly in hot, dry weather than when it's wet, so pray for a dry summer. Otherwise if you hate cutting it, get rid of all or part of it and replace with paving, gravel, or flower beds.
