Propagating succulents?
Question:I have read lots of information on how to propagate succulent plants from leaves but I havent found out any info on where to put them. It says to put them in a warm dry place but does this mean to put them in full sun, outside or inside? Also it says the best time to do this is in spring or Autumn but will it work if you do it in Winter? Thanks.

I do this constantly with my Jade tree.
All i do is stick the leaves in the soil next to the tree itself. After a few weeks they get short roots. Then I move them into their own pot.
You can place them anywhere that the conditions are the same as the parent plant, just water a little more often then you would a rooted succulent.
Yes, you can do it anytime of the year, but will have the most success during the summer as that is when it is hottest and most humid and the closest to the plants natural habitat, but they will root anytime so long as they are kept indoors during cold weather.
you can pretty much take the leaves off and place them in soil any time of the year. keep them in a window box or window sill
I have done this for years. the leaves will eventually grow roots and you are good to go.
