I thought it was cordyline, but after looking at Ctenanthe oppenheimiana "Tricolor", I have changed my mind. Notice how your plant is green and white on the top and red underneath? Look at this site>

we would if you could describe it.
CROTON, I BELIEVE IT S A TYPE OF CROTON TYPE IN WWW.PLANTS.COM AND LOOK UP CROTON.
There are several in the picture. The taller back ones look like corn plants to me. The front ones could be a type of croton based on the colors. What is the geographic location of the plants?
It sure looks like a Bromeliad from the Bromeliaceae family. These are grown in zone 9b-10-11 or as an indoor plant. I can't find the particular name of your plant but I'm sure (now that you are armed with the family name) you will be able to find it on the Internet. I would also recommend you take the picture to a college with a horticultural class, they might be able to come up with a name.
It looks to me like one of the newer cultivars of variegated ginger, they're becoming very popular in southern gardens, for quick color.
