Well, does it stink-- or does it smell?
call the dept. of health.
Vacant houses shouldn't have such a stench. Better call CSI, you may have problem.
I agree with umuppet1. What is making the house next door smell in the first place?
Blow the mama up HA-HA!
build a fence to stop the odor blowing over, get alot of air fresheners, and if it is really foul then maybe call the local athoritys and maybe there is something they can do? good luck. stay fresh hah
Use a spreader and scatter lime around. It will hasten the decay of vegetable matter and sterilize the bacteria. It will also enhance the fertility of the soil, promoting good grass growth.
Lime.
Call the dept of Health... If you don't like the looks of it, you could always put up a fence and do some nice landscaping... like some nice shrubs and trees.
Oh i have a good idea make a huge sign that says this house is the reason for the smell with an arrow pointing to the house next door. hahaha someone will soon get some point and help you out with the smell maybe by knocking the house down.
I think you should have someone come out and survey that vacant house. There might be something in there that needs to be discovered. This is extremely important because if there is something like a dead human or fauna in there I would suggest you reevaluate your place of habitation. Good Luck!
They need to get rid of the source at the vacant house. If it's stinking up your yard, it's smelling mighty rich! Maybe it's sewer problems. Hope it's not a dead body.
I suggest calling the local police department and letting them know, it could easily be a dead animal. They should check it out and take care of the problem.
Call the police to report the odor.
I'd call the owners or check if there's a dead body next door. LOL. I love that everyone here likes CSI. Okay, if it were me and there were an empty house next door and I could not get ahold of the owner, I'd call the health department. That's not natural.
Good luck.
