How to ship plants/flowers?

Question:I have spent months growing sunflowers in pots and 2 pots of crego asters that are just starting to grow buds and I am moving back halfway across the country. I know it doesnt make fiscal sense to ship these but they are my babies. How can I cost effectivly ship the plants?

Answers:
you need bags of ice, and you need a box which has a wax sealant inside to keep the plants cool. Also when shipping label "Perishable" .

That is what they use to do at a flower nursery I use to work at.
