Are delphiniums perennials?

Question:

Answers:
Yes, they'll come back every year, however, many varieties will only last 3 or 4 yrs in the home landscape. Cut them down to ground level when they are done blooming and totally dry out in late summer. You can prune the spent flower stalks after the first wave of blooms and you may be able to get a second flush of flowers in a single season. Beware! ...all parts of the delphinium are poisonous, so keep an eyeball open if there is small children present...
