What kind of plant (not iceplant) would be good to hold up a hill and prevent erosion?

Question:its about a 15-25 foot hi;gh hill

Answers:
The tree lupin (Lupinus arboreus) is great for this: it can send down its roots up to 20 feet and will stabilise any kind of soil, even sand dunes. it has pretty yellow lupin flowers and unlike perennial lupins it does not die down in winter, so you have leaves and a nice shrub all year round.

For full sun, you could try Blue Rug Juniper:

Daylilies also do well in the sun.

For shade, try hostas.
Any type of grass and there are some nice varieties, colors, ect.
