Hydrenga plant?
Question:My Hydrenga plant has lost its vibrant purple color, its all white and pale looking. It hasnt rained here in two weeks so ive been watering almost everyday,i give it a pretty good soaking.Am i over doing it or does it need more?also, how do you spell hydrenga?
Answers:
hydrangea,u have smth here.. u can email something to the people who made the site and ask them.
Try an acidic fertilizer for your hydrangea, Miracle Gro makes one. I used some this spring and my flowers are blue. Last year they were pink.
It's spelled "hydrangea".. The flowers only last so long. They are spent and will turn pale, then eventually totally dry up.. Then you won't have another bloom until next year. They only have 1 bloom per season. Shortly after blooming, you need to prune them to get the maximum flower production for next season.. Here is a link to explain this in detail..Hope this answers your question..

PS. Hydrangea's like to have wet feet. Just don't make the soil too soggy. Damp at all times is good, especially in hot weather.

LEROY IS CORRECT. ACIDIC SOIL MAKES THE BLOOMS PURPLE AND THE ACID BASED MIRACLE GROW IS THE ANSWER. (OTHERWISE, YOUR STUCK WITH PINK AND WHITE)
