I just purchased a Royal Poinciana (Flamboyant tree) in Key West, it was in a 6 in pot?

Question:I live in SW Fl & the baby tree is approx 18" tall right now. I planted it in full sun & have given it plenty of room to grow. How fast will it grow & how long will it take to have flowers?

Answers:
You will be amazed at how quickly your tree shoots up. Your first bloom my be in a few weeks, but many more next summer. Lucky fellow!

Should not be long. Feed it bone meal, and it should bloom for you within a couple of years.
Well, as you know, plants grow like science fiction in So. FL. My guess would be 10 ft after a couple of years. It'll probably bloom next summer.
