What do you know about San Pedro cactus?

Question:I think I have found a very large San Pedro Cactus. Although I'm a bit wary of whether it actually is San Pedro. Does it grow in Australia? If anyone has used it before and can give me some advice on how to prepare please give me your input.

Answers:
The San Pedro cactus is a fast-growing columnar cactus native to the Andes of Peru and Ecuador. I'm sure that is can grow in Australia.

The most common form of preparation is to cut the cactus into slices, boil it for over 7 hours and juice it into a green liquid.
