Patio Tomatoes. I purchased my first container of Patio Tomatoes..Should I ?

Question:repot the plant in another container or do they stay in the container they came in. This plant has about 12 tomatoes coming up on it.. the plant seems more like a bush of tomatoes..Should I stake the vines or tie the vines up with nylon hose?
What do I feralize with and how often?
Anything else I need to do or to feed the plant?
Thanks for your help!!

Answers:
I would put it in a pot that is at least one gallon in size, bigger is better. Water every morning until water starts to run out of the bottom of the pot. If you water in the evening, you may split the fruit. Spray with a mixture of dish washing soap and water to prevent cabbage worms. If you re-pot with good soil, you should not need fertilizers, but a little miracle grow won't hurt anything. Use the wire hoops available at your garden center to stake the plant. They are inexpensive and work the best.

You can leave the tomato in the container as long as it's big enough. Make sure you water frequently because containers tend to dry out faster than if the plant was in the ground. Place a tomato cage around the plant for support, making sure not to hurt the stems. You can buy vegetable fertilizer at any big box store, just read and follow the label. Happy growing!
I would repot in a much bigger container and use tall wood stake in it and tie with panty hose. The panty hose gives while it grows so there is no damage. I fertilize once a week with a little miricle grow but I water of evening because where we live it gets too hot and it burns my plants if I water of a morning. I also put grass clippings around my plants to help retain the water )from evaporation) and it works as an excellent fertilizer too.
yes put it in a bigger pot and water frequently
