What is the best kind of lawn sprinkler for small yards?

an oscillating sprinkler does best because you can adjust the spray.

I suggest the one that sprays in the fan shape back and forth (I don't know the name of it) You can adjust the water pressure to cover a large or small area. Great for small yards!

Walmart or any larger home improvement store has it.

They are quiet and you can adjust the spray. They move very smoothly.
They make one that has 4 different types of patterns on it. You turn it to the pattern you need to cover the area. Works great for small yards.
