How long can I leave fertilizer down before I sod?

Question:I have my lawn tilled and leveled and am ready to spread fertilizer. I will not be able to lay the sod until next weekend. Will the fertilizer lose any nutrients if I spread it today and leave it for 6 days until I can sod?

Answers:
If you use a Scotts Starter fertilizer it feeds for 4-6 weeks, so if you leave it down for a week, you will be fine. Good Luck!

It will be fine..
