the drop is in June the harvest from August onwards till October but this is weather and type of apple dependent. The drop is the tree dropping poorly set ,crowded or fruit that it can not sustain. September
August/September/October depending on variety
I always knew it as "the June Drop" when the tree sheds all the tiny fruit which aren't going to develop. The "drop" is greater when the tree is experiencing a period of drought.
september / october.
you'll find most Apple Harvest festivals are in October.
Feel free to pop around to our house at this time, we normally end up making about 400 bottles of cider so there's a few bottles in it for you if you help us pick up all the apples.
