I have a volunteer cherry tree growing will it be a good fruit tree?

Question:I have a cherry tree seedling growing under my Stella cherry tree? If I transplant it and let it mature will it be a productive fruit tree like its parent?

Answers:
Most fruit trees that are bought and planted have been grafted to make the tree a more desirable fruit producer. Most native fruit trees (volunteers) are not very good producers. If you want to transplant the tree, let it grow and then graft a limb of of a tree that is a good producer, you could make the tree a better fruit producer.

no it is a offspring and will not produce
