How far apart should four o'clock seeds be planted?

Question:

Answers:
I dont space them. My grandmother always had four o clocks in the yard. She let the seeds drop where they were. When she showed me how to plant them, all she did was take a trowel and make a small straight line in the soil about 2" deep and just poured them in the line. If you space them, they become too tall, with nothing to support them, and they will bend and break. If you dont want them in the place you have them now, just pick the seeds off when they are semi brown or black to be planted elsewhere. Keep the seeds in a jar after you have let them dry out.

I would say it depends on how close you want them together. Personally I like to see a lot of color so I would put them every six inches. If too thick you can either transplant to remove or do the same to fill in. Be sure to feed them on a regular basis. Enjoy!
