How close do blueberry bushes need for cross pollination?

Question:I just bought two blueberry bushes but the place I want to plant them, they'd be about 8 feet apart. Is that too far for cross pollination?

Answers:
I have raised blueberries for over twenty years. Eight feet apart is definately Okay. It may help a little if you have more than 2 bushes though. If you have room put in 2 more of a different variety.

Hi, ours are about that far apart, and they still get blueberrys! Until the birds discovered them that is! Bye
